John Glaser, Ph.D., has been a leader and innovator in the healthcare information technology industry for more than 30 years

NASHVILLE, TN. – March 17, 2020 – Relatient, a leading SaaS-based, patient engagement company and #1 KLAS Category Leader for “Patient Outreach” in 2020, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Glaser, Ph.D., to the company’s board of directors. Dr. Glaser was previously the executive senior advisor at Cerner Corporation, a global healthcare technology company. He also serves as a board member for the Scottsdale Institute, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), American Telemedicine Association and other top-tier healthcare organizations.

In addition to serving on the board of directors for various organizations in the healthcare IT industry, Dr. Glaser has written several articles and books on the strategic application of IT in healthcare, including the book, “Glaser on Health Care IT” and the well-known textbook, “Healthcare Information Systems: A Practical Approach for Health Care.” Dr. Glaser has previously held the position of CEO of Siemens Health Services, VP and CIO of Partners HealthCare and has served on the board for Press Ganey.
