Relatient Joins Cerner App Gallery with Mobile-First Self-Scheduling and Waitlist

Medical Offices Now Have Access to the Integrated Solution and Top-Rated Patient Engagement Platform

The Relatient Patient Self-Scheduling & Waitlist solution is now available in the Cerner App Gallery through work with Cerner and implementations with health systems and hospitals. Relatient’s Development team met the requirements of the Cerner Open Developer Experience (Code), a digital platform designed to encourage healthcare IT innovators to develop apps that advance communication and efficiency in the industry.

“As Relatient’s Patient Self-Scheduling & Waitlist technology is now interfaced with the Cerner App Gallery, patients and providers have access to an automated solution to empower patients with self-service appointments, keep the schedule full and improve patient satisfaction,” said Kevin Montgomery, CTO of Relatient. “Cerner leads the HealthIT and Electronic Health Record (EHR) market, so we are excited to bring mobile-first technology and automation to the patient experience and join their initiative to advance interoperability.”

Relatient’s commitment to Cerner users was evident in Cerner’s 2019 Code App Challenge, which prompted developers to innovate new strategies for patients to easily access their EHR data. Through the Code App Challenge and its award-winning platform, Relatient helped Oklahoma Heart Hospital to drastically improve patient-provider communication and outcomes.

“Oklahoma Heart Hospital and Relatient’s partnership led to a significant improvement to the patient experience and increase in operational efficiency,” said Jonathan Minson, Lead Software Architect of Oklahoma Heart Hospital. “As a result of our participation in the Code App Challenge, the hospital’s no-show rate decreased from approximately 6.5 to 5.1 percent, saving the hospital nearly one million dollars annually.”

Relatient is driving healthcare’s digital front door initiative through U.S. based technical support and efficient implementation including project management and training. For more information, visit the Relatient Cerner App Gallery profile
